Educated at the American College in Paris and the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Art History and a Masters in Folklore and Foodways; she is a Humanities person at heart. However, her professional background in computing compelled her to complete a second masters. She has recently completed a Masters in Computing and Information Technology at Penn's School of Engineering. According to her, three Ivy League degrees is enough!

Computing has been Karoline's career for the past 21 years, having started as the Systems Manager for the American Embassy in Dakar, Senegal in West Africa. From there she spent almost 10 years running the computing at Penn's College of General Studies. With a call from her family, Karoline became the Chief Information Officer for the Export Finance Network, a small entreprenerial firm, and seven years later returned to Penn to serve as the IT manager for the Counseling and Psychological Services department.

With over 2 decades of experience, representing service to over 100 private clients, Karoline is uniquely qualified to understand the computing needs and concerns of a diverse range of users and knowledge levels.
